This photo is so precious to me.
Marion Ueckermann is one of my first fans. She loved Where Treasure Hides so much when it released as an ebook a couple of years ago that she kept her Kindle nearby when she was driving so she could read the story at traffic lights. (She prayed for red lights and I prayed for her safety!)
I definitely wanted her to have a copy of the recently released print edition but Marion lives in South Africa. Instead of mailing her the novel, I gave it to my friend and critique partner, author Patricia Bradley.
Here they are–two dear friends–together at the American Christian Fiction Writers Conference in Dallas which is going on this week.
Thank you, Pat, for tucking my envelope to Marion into your suitcase. Let’s try to get together in October.
Thank you, Marion, for all the encouragement, support, and friendship you’ve given me over the past few years. The next time you’re in the States, I hope we get to meet in person.
Well…it wasn’t exactly in an envelope. 🙂 And that’s all I’m going to say. (You know I’m a suspense writer.)
You’re so funny. At least it got there! Thanks again for playing postlady.
