Les Miserables may be my favorite classic novel but Jane Austen is hands down my favorite classic author.
I don’t know how many times I’ve read Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility and Persuasion nor how many times I’ve watched my favorite adaptations of each one.
I’ve read all her other books, too.
Jane Austen is definitely my fave (with Charles Dickens in second place). Who are yours?
Twenty-Five Days of #BlogMas
My chosen theme for this series of blog posts is Classic of the Day. I hope you’ll join me in these days leading up to one of our most cherished–and classic–holidays.
I remember reading James Fennemore Cooper and loving his books. For days afterward I would pretend to be a character in his books.
I have never read one of his books. Which one would you recommend?
I have to go with Agatha Christie though I’m sure I could come up with a classic author in each genre.
I’ll be mentioning the great Agatha Christie later this month! There’s a terrific documentary about her on Amazon Prime, I believe. Have you seen it?
