Classic Mystery ~ And Then There Were None
Agatha Christie is recognized as the best-selling novelist of all time. The novel she said was the most difficult to write, And Then There Were None, was first published in 1939 under a different title.
This story has the triple distinction of being Christie’s most popular and best-selling novel, the world’s best-selling mystery, and one of the best-selling books of all time.
I’m not sure this is my favorite classic mystery of all time. But it definitely deserves the honor of being included in this Classic of the Day series.
Twenty-Five Days of #BlogMas
My chosen theme for this series of blog posts is Classic of the Day. I hope you’ll join me in these days leading up to one of our most cherished–and classic–holidays.
I enjoy a good mystery! I haven’t read Agatha Christie.
Oh, Caryl! What you have missed! And Then There Were None is her best-selling classic but she has so many other fun and engaging stories, too. They may seem a bit dated now but still very fun to read.
Oh Johnnie, we match again. Then There Were None is definitely a classic. BUT I could also pick any Dick Francis or Sue Grafton titles as well. =8-D
Have a great day, Friend.
I still re-read Agatha Christie!! Great addition to your “classics” list!
Thanks, Regina! This is a fun series. So what’s your favorite Christie mystery?
