Classic Western ~ The Rifleman
This TV classic, starring Chuck Connors as Lucas McCain, may not be many people’s choice for Classic Western.
But my parents often told me it was my favorite show when I was just a little tyke. So I’m sticking with it!
I also loved Rawhide.
Twenty-Five Days of #BlogMas
My chosen theme for this series of blog posts is Classic of the Day. I hope you’ll join me in these days leading up to one of our most cherished–and classic–holidays.
I loved Paladin! Have Gun, Will Travel. 🙂
I love lots of westerns but I don’t think I ever watched Paladin. I know the catchphrase, and wasn’t he played by Richard Boone? I guess my parents must not have watched it. Or maybe it was on after my bedtime. (They were strict about stuff like that!- LOL!)
I remember watching Wagon Train but Gunsmoke was a favorite when I was growing up.
Oh, Mary! I remember watching Wagon Train when I stayed at my grandmother’s home during the summers. I had totally forgotten about it. Thanks for that memory!
Oh my. The Rifleman and Paladin were two of my favorites, but I have to choose Gunsmoke as #1.
Gunsmoke is a true classic. A bit of trivia: did you know James Arness and Peter Graves (from the old Mission: Impossible series) were brothers?
I was a Bonanza girl! Little Joe’s horse was my favorite, but I had a crush on Adam! Lol
My mom had a crush on Adam! So he was my favorite, too.
