I can hardly believe we’re giving away the last novel of 2021, yet here we are! Already in December and counting the days until Christmas.
Patricia Bradley and I met eons ago when I was added to her American Christian Fiction Writers critique group. We’ve been critiquing, brainstorming, and providing feedback on each other’s manuscripts ever since. When I first started interviewing inspirational authors–way back in August 2016–Patricia was the first person I chose as my guest.
Crosshairs is the third book in Patricia’s Natchez Trace Park Rangers Series. She is graciously providing an autographed copy to one lucky winner!
The Story
When evil just won’t quit, good must prevail.
Investigative Services Branch (ISB) ranger Ainsley Beaumont arrives in her hometown of Natchez, Mississippi, to investigate the murder of a three-month-pregnant teenager. While she wishes the visit was under better circumstances, she never imagined that she would become the killer’s next target–nor that she’d have to work alongside an old flame.
After he almost killed a child, former FBI sniper Lincoln Steele couldn’t bring himself to fire a gun, which had deadly and unforeseen consequences for his best friend. Crushed beneath a load of guilt, Linc is working at Melrose Estate as an interpretive ranger. But as danger closes in on Ainsley during her murder investigation, Linc will have to find the courage to protect her. The only question is, will it be too little, too late?
Award-winning author Patricia Bradley continues her Natchez Trace Park Rangers series with a story about how good must prevail when evil just won’t quit.

Sounds like an awesome read! Happy Holidays!
Merry Christmas to you, too!
There are so many historical places I would like to visit. I think some of the top places would be Yellowstone and Monticello.
I visited Monticello more than thirty years ago. Very interesting tour. I hope you get to both those places, Ellen.
Thank you for this opportunity. Book looks very interesting.
You’re very welcome, Barbara!
I would love to visit so many but because of our age and health we probably won’t be traveling anymore.
Hi, Faith. I’m sorry you’re more home-bound now. Are there places nearby you’d like to visit? Seems like we’re seldom a tourist in our own hometown. I lived about an hour’s drive north of Lake Okeechobee for over twenty years and somehow never made it there to see the lake. I regret that! Good to hear from you!
I’ve been to Biltmore once and it was such a great experience, I’d love to go again!
Hi, Laura. That’s a place I’ve driven past several times. Sure do wish I had stopped once.
I’d love to visit Yellowstone! I’ve been to St. Augustine, Savannah, and Americus, GA. All three have old houses and churches that I love!
I truly enjoy St. Augustine and one of my daughters hopes to someday live in Savannah! We’ve been there two or three times. Never to Americus, though!

Great answer!
I love traveling around the U.S. There are so many terrific historical places to see. Next on my list is Savannah to visit the daughter of a close friend and do some sightseeing.
I haven’t read any of Patricia’s books yet, but they are definitely on my list. This one sounds great.
Merry Christmas!
Hi, Julie. Savannah is a great place to visit. My mom and I did one of the ghost tours when we were there decades ago. So much fun! Enjoy your trip!
I would love to visit Strawbery Banke Museum which is in my home state yet I have never been there.
Hi, Roxanne. I mentioned above that we so seldom take advantage of what’s in our own backyard! I’ve lived here in the Tulsa area for almost four years now and have hardly been a “tourist” at all. Of course, we couldn’t go out much for all those long months. Hope you make it to the museum and love every minute!
I would love to see the Liberty Bell.
So would I, Lisa!
I won’t be going anywhere next year but I would love to eventually visit the national parks. Thanks for the chance to win!
Hi, Amelia. It might be fun to try to visit at least one national park in each of the states. Though that could take a lifetime! Hope you get to visit the ones you want to visit most in the near future. Merry Christmas!
I would love to go to Gettysburg. Thank you for sharing. Blessings
Oh, Lucy! I would love to go there, too. Always glad to hear from you!
I would like to visit the French Quarter in New Orleans, there is so much interesting history there.
Hi, Julie. That seems like a very exciting place to visit. Hope you get the chance!
would love to visit Pearl Habor
Hi, Shelia. After our Heroines of World War II Pearl Harbor remembrance event on Facebook earlier this week, so would I. So many amazing stories of heroism and courage.
I have always wanted to visit Israel.
Hi, Victoria. I hope you get the chance to make that trip. To walk where Jesus walked would be such an adventure!
I don’t know if you would consider this historical, but I want to travel out west and see the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park, etc.
Definitely counts, Linda. Those are both places I’d love to visit, too. It just seems we also end up traveling east instead of west!
I would love to go back to Valhalla Estate in South Lake Tahoe, CA–where I grew up and started my career (now retired) with the Forest Service!
Hi, Connie. That sounds exciting–I didn’t know you were with the Forest Service. I’m sure you’ve had amazing adventures and strange encounters. So glad to hear from you!
Thank you so much for sharing. This sounds like such a fabulous book. God bless you. Merry Christmas.
Hi, Debra. Pat is a terrific storyteller. If you’re a romantic suspense fan, I’m sure you’ll enjoy her novels!
