Sara Davison recently won the American Christian Fiction Writers’ esteemed Carol Award for Romantic Suspense for her novel, Lost Down Deep ~ which is a terrific story!
Our giveaway is for another of Sara’s fantastic novel, Forged, the fourth story in her The Night Guardians Series.
The Story
The one missing person he can’t find is the one who matters the most.
Private Investigator Jax Rodriguez has been searching for his brother, Diego, for twenty years. When he stumbles upon another lead, he makes an agonizing decision—he will follow this last trail until it grows cold, and then he will marry the woman he loves and abandon his quest once and for all.
Artist Mikayla Grant is terrified of losing another person close to her, but she has to let Jax go after his brother. Given the secrecy surrounding Diego’s disappearance, clearly Jax is heading into danger. When all contact with him is abruptly cut off, can Mikayla trust that God’s promise to never leave nor forsake Jax will be enough to bring him safely home? Or does she need to take matters into her own hands?
As Jax attempts to survive the dangerous streets of Caracas, Venezuela, and then face the myriad of unknown threats in the El Yunque Rainforest in Puerto Rico, he is not the only one hunting down his brother.
A ruthless drug lord bent on revenge is using all his resources to discover the truth about what happened to Diego. If Jax can’t stay one step ahead of his pursuer, then he, like his brother, could disappear and never be heard from again.

I love books set in other countries. I just recently traveled to Jamaica, and would love to read a book set there. Actually, maybe I’ll write one set there, lol!
You should do that, Linda!!! Love the idea!!
Hi, Trudy! That’s one of the reasons I love to read fiction–to visit places I’ll never get to go in person.
I enjoy learning about other countries, even when I read for pleasure. I’m very interested in the parts of Forged that take place in Puerto Rico.
Hi, Roxanne! I’m with you–we can learn so much about other places and history from reading fiction.

Hi, Lucy. Your comment makes me think of a Victorian Christmas–so beautiful!!!
I have visited Toronto many times, but have not been in either of the other places. I enjoy books that take me around the world – after all, I am unlikely to ever be able to visit many of them.
Hi, Betti. I’ve been in the Toronto airport once! That doesn’t really count, though. LOL!
My hubby and I have lived in four different countries and travelled to 30 different countries. I love reading books that take place in different countries since we have traveled so much. Thanks for the chance to win.
Hi, Faith. How wonderful that you’ve had all those experiences. Oh, yes, I am a little green! LOL!
I prefer reading books set in the USA but also enjoy many in other countries. I especially like reading about anything in Europe.
Hi, Cindi. It seems most of the novels I’ve read this year have been set in the U.S. But I like European settings, too.

I would love to read a book that was in Australia. I would love to go there and this would make me feel like I was there in person through the book.
Hi, Barbara. I’ve dreamed of visiting Australia forever and then after the Lord of the Rings movies came out, I switched that dream to New Zealand. It’s so far away that I doubt I’ll ever go. Still fun to dream, though!
I like reading books set in most any country, but especially England!
Sounds like a fascinating read.
