I am so excited to share this giveaway with all of you! Song of Grace: Stories to Amaze the Soul is the Mosaic’s Collection summer anthology.
Inspired by the haunting classic hymn, “Amazing Grace,” eight of the Mosaic authors have teamed up to bring you stories based on the hymn’s stanzas.
The characters in these stories desperately seek fulfillment and healing. Each of them struggle through trials and troubles to discover the redemptive power of God’s amazing grace.
My contribution to the anthology is called “Paper Trail.” This story is told through the ephemera–paper memorabilia–instead of words. I’m eager (and a little bit nervous) to find out what you all think of it!
Note:
- The Rafflecopter winner must have a U.S. address.

I’m so excited about this. Can’t wait to see how you wrote this story!
It’s an odd one! LOL!!!
Such wonderful news, Johnnie. All the best with your latest.
Thank you so much!
One of my favorite songs at church is Be With Me Lord. It means so much to me because I am reminded that no matter what God promises to be with me to this very end of the ages.
Oh, Sonnetta. That is a lovely song!
Amazing Grace is indeed special but I absolutely love “It Is Well With My Soul”. To know that “My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, o my soul!” oh, the assurance!
Oh, Connie. I love that song, too. I’m sure you know the story behind it, too, which makes it even more poignant and so very special.
Amazing Grace is one of my favorite hymns. I am looking forward to all the stories, but especially Johnnie’s. I am so intrigued by the ephemera–paper memorabilia.
Oh, Roxanne! I am so nervous about that story. Please let me know what you think of it.
Amazing Grace is such a beautiful, sincere, Godly hymn. It is one of my favorite hymns and it was one of my Grandmother’s favorite hymns. Rememembering this hymn and the lyrics teaches what God did for us and why? This hymn will always touch my heart in so many ways it’s hard to explain. I get teary eyed every time hear or sing this hymn. The Love that comes from this hymn is absolutely incredible
Oh, Crystal. Thanks for sharing your memories and your heart. Hugs!
I love the freedom of reading the work of these Christian authors. There is no concerns about offensive behavior or language. I can be confident that I will finish the story and not delete it prior to the conclusion. Their works contain food for thought.
Thank you for your confidence in our stories, Anne-Marie. I hope you love each and every one of them!
Thank you so much for sharing. God bless you.
Thank you, Debra! God bless you, too.
This is already on my reading list, I can’t wait to read it!
Oh, I’m so glad to hear that, Amelia!! Thank you!!
Amazing Grace means more to me than any other hymn. The first time I heard it and really listened to the lyrics was at the memorial service when my great grandmother died. Everybody stood up and sang it. I was the only one there I think who didn’t know the words. Ever since then, it’s been my favorite hymn, perhaps even my favorite song. I sing it while washing dishes, hanging wash, sweeping the floor, in the shower, or walking the dog. It lives in my heart.
If I happen to win a copy of that book, I would be happy to review it when I read it. 🙂
“It lives in my heart.” Oh, that’s so touching and so is your story. Thank you for sharing the reason for your love for this song with us. God bless!
I love the history of the song and the words are so very meaningful, all the verses! Thanks for the chance to win!
Hi, Faith. I believe each story is based on a different stanza. I got my copy on Kindle yesterday but haven’t had a chance to read the other stories yet.
Amazing Grace was my grandfather’s favorite hymn and also mine.
I’m really interested in how you wrote your story for your addition to the collection.
Hi, Julie. You have such a lovely name, especially when we’re all talking about Amazing Grace and Song of Grace. 🙂 Like I said in the post, I’m nervous about what readers will think of my story. But it was creatively fulfilling for me.
I look forward to reading your book.
Thank you, Beverly. I hope you get a chance to do so and that you love it!
Amazing Grace is my favorite hymn. It was sung at my grandparents’ and parents’ funerals.
Hi, Karen. It’s such a lovely hymn, isn’t it? And so meaningful. Thanks for sharing!
Wow! This book sounds amazing! Would love to read your story!❤️
Hi, Paty. I’m so eager to read the stories from my co-authors. If you get the chance to read mine, please let me know what you think of my off-beat approach to story-telling!
It is only by His grace that we are saved. We sure can’t earn it. What a loving Father we have!!!
All I can say to that, Vivian, is amen and amen!
I love Amazing Grace! My favorite hymn is Great is Thy Faithfulness.
That’s a beautiful hymn, too, Betti. Both the music and the lyrics are so powerful.
The hymn Amazing Grace is not only Godly but mesmerizing too. It tells a story that should motivate us all to Faithfulness and prayer to God. It’s one of my favorite hymns as well as my late Grandmother’s too. We had Amaing Grace sung at her funeral. Knowing that this hymn was written with love and hope that we will turn to God for the Amazing Grace He gives us. Yes He freely gives us Amazing Grace to us because all of us are sinners and need Amazing Grace. I will always be glad for the Amazing Grace God gave me and hymn tells the story perfectly.
I would love to read & review book in print format
Hope I Win
Hi, Crystal. I love your comment. Thanks for sharing what this hymn means to you.
We could all use some grace, couldn’t we? Hymns always speak to us.
Absolutely, Sally! I am so grateful for God’s grace and His love.
One of my favorite hymns is Jesus Paid It All. Both that, and Amazing Grace, point me to Jesus and remind all that He has done for me.
