Today’s Post: We’re on our way to Green Gables and a Goodreads Giveaway for The Courageous Brides Collection

My sister drove along PEI’s North Shore while I navigated with the help of an old-fashioned map. Even so, I was surprised when all of a sudden we saw this sign:

And almost immediately on the other side of the road:

We drove past both signs then backed up. My sister parked along the roadside while I hopped out with my camera. I crossed the road, climbed over the guardrail, and teetered on the bank.

This next photo, my friends, shows Anne Shirley’s beloved Lake of Shining Waters.

While I was out of the car, my sister pulled into the museum’s graveled drive. This isn’t the famous Green Gables but Lucy Maud Montgomery’s museum and gift shop.

I’ll share a few of those photos on Monday–including one of Anne and me! Until then, here’s one more of Anne with Matthew and Marilla. I love these (but I refrained from buying them).
