How cute are the animals on these covers?
I’ve read Murder at the Courthouse which is a cozy mystery that breaks a couple of the typical cozy mystery “rules.” (Which are more like guidelines!) If you love mysteries, I’m sure you’ll love this one that features a very pretty tabby on the cover.
Unbound is a favorite because it’s a well-written story but also because of the alpacas. As you may know, my sister and I had an alpaca herd for a time. Oh, the memories! Yes, I’ve been spit on. That stinks!
Where Healing Starts is on my reading list, so it’s the novel I’m reading in August. I’ve read other wonderful stories by Angela so I know this one will be great!
This challenge allows me to suggest one of my own novels, The Mischief Thief. In this story, a con artist with a conscience and a minister without a ministry work together to save an endangered racehorse. It’s a fun story I hope you’ll enjoy.
Let me know in the comments if you’ll be reading any of these novels or if you’ve found another one with an animal on the cover. For more info on my suggestions, click the image.
Hi, Johnnie! These look really interesting! I searched through my current Kindle books and haven’t found any with a one-word title. Have a lovely August!
My one-word title choice is Watercolors by Lorna Seilstad. I have it on my Kindle, but because of multiple deadlines, I haven’t started it yet. Then I’ll go to Where Healing Starts! Great to hear from you, Maria!
Great to hear from you, Johnnie! ❤
I read and reviewed a children’s book with the one word title “Champ” by Delia Laboni. OK it was a story in PDF but a good story with great teachable moments for ALL.
The books look intriguing
Thanks for Sharing
For the very first Reading Challenge, way back in January, I read children’s book called Bob. The challenge was to read a book outside your usual genre and my grandson recommended that story to me. Actually quite good! Hope you find a book with an animal on the cover that you’ll enjoy reading for August.
