My choice for May’s Reading Challenge is Convenient Lies by USA Today best-selling author Robin Patchen. This romantic suspense novel is the first in Robin’s Nutfield Saga Series. I’ve been wanting to read this series for several months so finally the time has come!
Plus I met Robin in April when she taught at a weekend writers conference hosted by the American Christian Fiction Writers Oklahoma Chapter. She’s a dynamic, energetic teacher, and I’m eager to curl up with her “edge-of-your-seat” novel.
Below are more suggestions for “Books About a Mother.” If the collage looks familiar, it’s because I shared it in last month’s Reading Challenge ~ April & May post.
So here’s a behind the scenes look at my thought process ~ Since January, I’ve scheduled the Reading Challenge posts for the third Saturday of each month because I announce a novel giveaway on the first Saturday. But that meant talking about the current month when it was half over. So I’ve made a change. The giveaway posts will still appear (almost always) on the first Saturday but the Reading Challenge posts will move to the last Saturday of the month.
Expect to see June’s Reading Challenge and story suggestions on May 28th.
With all of that out of the way, here are May’s suggestions for a book about a mother! Click the image for more info on any of these books.
